Quantum dots

Quantum dots offer enhanced efficiency in applications like solar cells, LEDs, and medical imaging

Quantum dots offer enhanced efficiency in applications like solar cells, LEDs, and medical imaging, and we specialize in producing them for these areas, driving innovation and improving performance in each field.

By leveraging their unique properties, we enable more efficient energy capture in solar panels, brighter and more energy-efficient lighting solutions, and advanced imaging techniques for healthcare. Our ongoing research continues to unlock new potential for quantum dots, making them a key component in the next generation of technological advancements.

“Our research focuses on carbon quantum dots with a size of 3-5 nm. The maximum absorption occurs at 350 nm, while the re-emission peak happens at a wavelength where solar cells have enhanced sensitivity.

By applying this specially developed nanofilm to the most widely used silicon solar panels, we can increase their efficiency by 5-10% and extend their lifespan by at least 10%. These significant improvements will substantially enhance the performance of solar panels.

There are currently no analogs for such functional coatings for solar cells anywhere in the world. The technology is currently undergoing expert evaluation for patenting and industrial implementation. It is simple, scalable, and uses widely available, relatively inexpensive reagents.

Our laboratory is dedicated to continuous research and development, striving every day to push the boundaries of innovation and create sustainable solutions for the future.”
